Aalborg Business College

Aalborg Business College is a self-governing, state-funded institution established in 1875. With more than 3000 annual students, 6000 course participants and 330 employees, Aalborg Business College fulfils an important role in the Northern Denmark region.

Our main activity is to offer national programs within business and vocational education and training. These programs are regulated and supported by the Ministry of Children and Education and by a large number of advisory bodies, including representatives from industry committees and various labor market organizations. We actively support the current development of combining interdisciplinary learning, integration of theory and practice as well as blended learning. Our educations are primarily within retail, trade and administration, and we also offer single subject courses within IT, languages, economics and communication.

One of the focus areas in our overall teaching strategy is digitization. This includes providing our students and teachers with a digital mindset along with constantly improving their digital competences. Taking a circular approach, we consider everything when offering and providing digitized education, from marketing, administration and technical aspects to economy, evaluation and follow-up.
